The Inspiration for Your Event

Linda was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, the ninth of fifteen siblings, and from an early age learned the value of faith, resilience, and perseverance. After high school, I joined the military, which gave me the discipline and determination to pursue higher goals. I went on to earn my Secretarial Degree at Lamar Salter Vocational Technical College in Louisiana and built a 32-year career in federal civil service as a Human Resources professional on a military base before retiring.

Today, I am a proud mother of four and grandmother of six. I enjoy traveling, gardening, cooking, and staying active through sports like softball, volleyball, and bowling. Most importantly, I am passionate about encouraging others through my writing and speaking.

 As an author, I have written Overcoming Obstacles in My Life, The Best Years Ahead, Defeating the Giants: Let Your Greatness Shine, and The Power of Effective Prayer. Each book reflects my journey and my desire to inspire hope, courage, and faith in others—helping people overcome challenges, embrace new seasons, and discover their true strength.
