About Me

Linda Green was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and was the ninth child of fifteen siblings. After completing high school, she joined the military to advance her career. Following the end of her military service, she pursued further education in business at Fayetteville Vocational Technical College in North Carolina. She then enrolled as a full-time student at Lamar Salter Vocational Technical College in Louisiana to obtain her Secretarial Degree. After graduation, Linda continued working as a federal civil service employee in Human Resources on a military base for 30 years, enhancing her skills until her retirement after 32 years of service.

 

Linda is a mother to four adult children and has six grandchildren. She finds pleasure in meeting new people, traveling, and gardening outdoors. Additionally, she enjoys playing sports, such as softball, volleyball, and bowling, as well as cooking her favorite recipes. Linda is also an author and has written several books, including "Overcoming Obstacles in My Life," "The Best Years Ahead," and "Defeating the Giants."
